I'm Hunter VanEtten, the owner and creator behind Orion Leathercraft. I graduated from Virginia Tech in 2022 with a bachelor's degree in civil engineering, but I also have a passion for creating—whether it's through design, craftsmanship, or working with my hands. What began as a hobby in leathercraft quickly grew into something much more as I fell in love with the process of transforming raw leather into functional, durable pieces.

As a self-taught artist, my mission is simple: to share my vision with the world, one leather design at a time. I believe in making quality, long-lasting pieces that have character and purpose. Each item I create is crafted with care, with a focus on durability, timeless style, and sustainability. By choosing leather—one of nature’s most durable materials—I aim to create products that stand the test of time and help reduce waste by offering items that can be treasured for years to come.
